PRICING INFORMATION
We understand that pricing standards vary widely within this industry, and that studios can charge either by the hour of recording time, the hour/minute of audio output, inclusive or exclusive of post-production, engineering time, etc. In order for Welocalize to efficiently benchmark the vendors in our pool, we will need every studio to provide prices in the same format. If you offer recording-only services (no post-production), please indicate this clearly in your pricing information. We need the following:
Rates both in USD and Euro (you may be contacted by Welocalize offices anywhere in the world. We require that our vendors trade with us in both USD and Euro. If you are located in Japan, you may add rates in Japanese yen as well).
Rates per word (all inclusive of studio, voice talent, post-production and engineering work). In other words, what would be our cost for one recorded and post-produced word? Note: Please provide a clear breakdown of the pricing per item, by which you come to the fully loaded rate per word.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Welocalize needs to work very closely with our partner studios. The quality and adaptability of your services is very important to us.
How quickly can you book a talent and perform a recording? For example, if we have 500 words of French to be recorded and we contact you at 10 AM EST on any given day, when can you have the final recording back to us?
Should we have an issue with your recording (an error on your end), how would you handle our request to re-record and how fast can you have the new recording back to us? Would you charge us for the re-work?
What are your hours of operation? (If you operate more than one studio, please give us information for each). How will your team handle different time zone requests?
QUALITY
Please detail your recording process and the quality steps followed by your team prior to delivery to Welocalize.
